Colossians 3:14–15
“And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts… and be ye thankful.”
Paul brings everything together with a final, comprehensive vision. Love is the “bond of perfectness”—the glue that holds the body together as it matures. Without love, growth becomes fragmentation. With love, growth becomes unity.
To “grow up together” means maturity is shared, not competitive. Revival dismantles comparison and replaces it with cooperation. The church does not advance by outpacing one another, but by walking together in obedience.
Paul also calls us to let the peace of God rule. That word implies authority. Peace must be allowed to govern reactions, decisions, and relationships. Revival restores this rule by dethroning pride and impatience.
Thankfulness seals the picture. Gratitude guards the heart from resentment and entitlement. A thankful church is a healthy church. Revival renews gratitude by reminding us of grace received, mercy sustained, and growth still unfolding.
This final day of February is not an ending—it is a threshold. A church that has learned to love, forgive, serve, restore, and endure is now ready to move outward with strength and credibility.
Take time today to thank God for what He has done this month. Not perfection—but progress. Not ease—but growth. Revival matures a people who walk together in love.
March will call the church to contend for souls. February has prepared the church to do so together.
