1 Corinthians 15:58
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Paul grounds this exhortation in resurrection certainty. Because Christ is risen, steadfastness is not stubbornness—it is wisdom. Faith that endures refuses to be reshaped by instability or intimidated by change. It remains rooted while the world shifts around it.

To be steadfast and unmovable does not mean resistant to growth; it means anchored in truth. Enduring faith knows what must not change, even when methods, seasons, and circumstances do. Stability becomes a testimony in a restless age.

Paul also reminds believers that endurance should not become passivity. Faith that endures continues abounding in the work of the Lord. Obedience remains active even when progress feels slow or unnoticed.

The assurance that labor is not in vain is essential here. Weariness often whispers that faithfulness no longer matters. Scripture answers clearly—God never wastes what is done in Him.

Thursday calls the church to remain steady. Not loud. Not reactive. Simply faithful. Endurance becomes a witness when others are weary of drifting.
