Andrew may not be as prominent as Peter, James, or John, but he holds a special place in the gospel story. What makes Andrew remarkable is not the sermons he preached or miracles he performed—but the people he brought to Jesus. In John 1:41, after meeting Christ, it says, “He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias… And he brought him to Jesus.”

Andrew wasn’t seeking the spotlight—he was pointing people to the Savior. It was Andrew who introduced Peter to Jesus. Later, in John 6, it was Andrew who brought the boy with five loaves and two fish to the Lord. And in John 12, when some Greeks wanted to see Jesus, it was Andrew who helped connect them to the Savior. Time and again, Andrew played the quiet but crucial role of connecting others with Christ.

His ministry may not have been loud, but it was lasting. Peter went on to preach at Pentecost and lead the early church—but Andrew was the one who first brought him to Jesus. What if your greatest impact isn’t something you do, but someone you introduce to Christ?

Andrew teaches us that there’s great power in personal witness. You don’t need a pulpit to make an eternal difference. You just need to care enough to say, “Come and see.” Today, ask God to make you like Andrew—faithful, willing, and ready to lead someone to Jesus.
