Colossians 4:3
“Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ…”
Paul understood something essential: opportunity comes from God. Evangelism does not begin with cleverness or confidence—it begins with open doors God alone can provide. Revival restores dependence on divine timing rather than human force.
An open door is more than a chance conversation. It is a moment prepared by God—where hearts are receptive, circumstances align, and words carry weight. Revival teaches us to watch for these moments rather than manufacture them.
Paul asks for prayer not merely to speak, but to speak clearly. “The mystery of Christ” requires clarity and courage. Revival sharpens both, ensuring that when doors open, the Gospel is spoken plainly.
This prayer also guards against passivity. Waiting for open doors does not mean doing nothing—it means living attentively. Revival heightens awareness so believers recognize opportunities when they appear.
Sunday worship should renew expectancy. As the church gathers, it is sent again. Doors will open this week—in conversations, crises, and quiet moments. Revival prepares hearts to step through them obediently.
Ask God today for open doors. Not dramatic platforms—faithful opportunities. When God opens a door, no one can shut it.
Step forward with trust. God is still opening doors for those willing to speak.
