One of the greatest gifts we can give in relationships is helping others grow spiritually, emotionally, and personally. Hebrews 10:24 challenges us, “And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works.” Encouraging growth in others is a way to show love and reflect the heart of Christ.

Jesus was intentional about helping His disciples grow. He taught them, challenged them, and encouraged them to step out in faith. In the same way, we can encourage the people in our lives by speaking truth, offering support, and celebrating their progress. Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

This week, consider how you can encourage growth in someone you care about. Whether it’s offering wise counsel, praying for them, or helping them reach a goal, your investment will strengthen the relationship and glorify God.
