Proverbs 11:3 — “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.”

Integrity is not proven when everyone is watching but when no one is. The upright live with consistency in both public and private, guided by integrity in all things. Transgressors, however, are destroyed by their duplicity, for a divided heart eventually collapses.

The true test of character is how we live in secret. Do we honor God when no one else will ever know? Do we live with honesty when the chance to deceive seems safe? Integrity is not about appearances but about reality. It is who we are when the lights are off and the doors are closed.

Integrity serves as a guide, steering us away from dangerous paths and keeping us aligned with God’s truth. Those who live without it stumble in darkness, trapped by the consequences of their deception. The perverseness of the wicked becomes their own downfall.

God calls His children to walk in integrity because He sees all things. Nothing is hidden from His sight, and His approval matters far more than man’s applause. To live uprightly before Him is to live with peace, even if the world never notices.

True wisdom seeks integrity not for recognition but for righteousness. The upright walk securely because their hearts are whole. They belong fully to God, and their lives reflect His truth.
