1 Corinthians 1:24, 30 — “Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. … But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.”

At the end of this first week, we are reminded that wisdom is not merely a concept but a Person—Jesus Christ. He is the wisdom of God revealed in human flesh. The world mocked Him, crucified Him, and dismissed Him as foolishness, yet in Him is hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. To know Christ is to know wisdom.

Paul tells us that Christ has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. In Him, we find the answers to life’s greatest questions. In Him, we find forgiveness for sin, holiness for living, and redemption for eternity. No philosophy of man, no wisdom of this world, can compare with the wisdom of the cross.

This truth brings clarity to our pursuit of wisdom. It is not enough to admire wise sayings or memorize Proverbs; we must be united with Christ, the source of all wisdom. Without Him, our wisdom is shallow and temporary. With Him, we are guided into truth that leads to eternal life.

As we reflect on the week, let us lift our eyes to Christ. He is the foundation, the treasure, and the fulfillment of wisdom. To walk with Him is to walk in wisdom. To follow Him is to live in righteousness. To trust Him is to be redeemed.

True wisdom is found not in the streets of Athens or the libraries of men, but in the person of Jesus Christ. He is our wisdom, and in Him we have everything we need for life and godliness.
