Titus 2:13
“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.”

Resurrection life lives with anticipation. Christ has risen—but He has not yet returned. Believers now live between victory secured and glory revealed. Resurrection joy thrives in this tension.

Paul calls Christ’s return a “blessed hope.” This hope does not distract us from present faithfulness—it motivates it. Resurrection life is lived with eyes lifted, hearts anchored, and hands busy.

Waiting is not idleness. It is expectation shaped by obedience. Resurrection joy keeps believers from despair when the world feels broken, because restoration is promised.

This hope also guards against complacency. Knowing Christ will return sharpens priorities. Resurrection life invests in what lasts, not what merely shines briefly.

Sunday worship renews this posture. We gather as a people who remember the resurrection and anticipate the return. Our faith stretches forward, not backward.

If life feels unresolved today, that tension is normal. Resurrection assures us that the story is not finished. Hope looks ahead with confidence.

Christ lives. Christ will return. And until then, we live faithfully between.
