The world is confused about what manhood is, but the Bible is not. Godly manhood is not about domination or bravado—it’s about responsibility, humility, strength under control, and servant leadership. Micah 6:8 lays the foundation: “What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Raising boys into men who walk with God requires intentional training. Teach them to value hard work, to speak with respect, to protect the vulnerable, and to pursue purity. Show them how to handle failure with repentance, and success with humility. Help them see that being a man means leading with love, not force, and standing for truth, even when it costs them something.

Dads, your example speaks louder than words. If your sons see you following Christ with sincerity, loving your wife well, and prioritizing integrity, they will have a living model of what biblical manhood looks like. Moms, your encouragement and affirmation give your sons the confidence to grow into the men God is calling them to be.

Let’s raise up a generation of young men who fear the Lord, cherish truth, and lead with grace. The church—and the world—needs them.
