In a culture that pressures girls to find their worth in appearance, popularity, or performance, the Word of God offers a better path: “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30). Raising godly daughters means teaching them where their true value lies—in Christ.

Girls need to know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that their voices matter, and that their gifts can be used mightily for the Kingdom. Teach them to cultivate inner beauty—gentleness, strength, kindness, wisdom—and to reject the lies of the world about what makes a woman valuable.

Fathers play a vital role in affirming their daughters’ worth. When a girl knows she is cherished by her dad, she’s less likely to seek affirmation in harmful places. Mothers model for daughters what it means to walk in godliness, love sacrificially, and embrace womanhood with confidence and grace.

Let’s raise girls who know how to stand for truth, love others well, and live with purpose. Girls who grow into women who don’t just reflect the culture—but reflect Christ.
