Colossians 3:1–3
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above… For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Paul lifts our gaze upward—not to escape earth, but to live on it rightly. Resurrection life changes perspective. If we are risen with Christ, then our priorities must follow our position.

To be “seated with Christ” does not remove us from struggle, but it reorders significance. Earthly chaos no longer defines ultimate reality. Resurrection life grants stability when circumstances fluctuate.

Paul reminds us that our life is “hid with Christ in God.” This is profound security. Identity is not fragile or exposed—it is guarded. Resurrection joy rests in this hiddenness, especially when life feels unstable.

Seeking things above does not mean neglecting earthly responsibilities. It means interpreting them through eternal truth. Resurrection life does not detach—it anchors.

This truth comforts believers battling anxiety, comparison, or fear of loss. What matters most is already secured. Resurrection has placed your life beyond the reach of ultimate harm.

Wednesday calls us to breathe deeply. Lift your eyes. Reset your focus. You are not merely surviving below—you are seated above.

Because Christ lives, your life is secure, significant, and held fast.
