Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Spiritual stability is not found in striving harder—it is found in surrendering deeper. Isaiah reminds us that renewed strength flows from waiting on the Lord. Revival recalibrates our understanding of strength, teaching us that dependence produces endurance.

Waiting is not passivity; it is trustful expectation. It is choosing God’s timing over our urgency, His pace over our pressure. Many believers burn out because they try to run without waiting, serve without surrendering, and lead without listening.

Revival restores rhythm. It teaches us when to run, when to walk, and when to wait. Notice the progression in Isaiah’s promise—mounting, running, walking. God supplies strength for every pace of life.

Burnout is often a sign that surrender has been replaced with self-reliance. Revival calls us back to humility—to acknowledge limits and trust God’s sufficiency. Waiting renews what striving drains.

Midweek is an ideal time to stop, breathe, and realign. Surrender anxieties. Release pressures. Lay down what you were never meant to carry.

Stability grows where surrender is practiced. And those who wait upon the Lord will not be put to shame.
