Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Resurrection joy does not ignore weariness—it answers it. God never pretends His people do not grow tired. He promises renewal, not exemption. Resurrection life sustains those who wait upon the Lord.

Waiting is not passivity; it is trustful dependence. It is the posture of those who know strength does not originate within themselves. Resurrection power flows most freely where self-reliance has been laid down.

Isaiah’s imagery is progressive. Sometimes God lifts us to soar. Sometimes He gives strength to run. And sometimes—often—He enables us simply to walk without fainting. Resurrection grace meets us at every pace.

This promise comforts weary saints who feel unseen or exhausted. Faithfulness that continues quietly is no less powerful than dramatic endurance. Resurrection strength carries the long road.

Sunday worship restores perspective. We gather not because we are strong, but because God is faithful. Resurrection joy breathes deeply and rests confidently.

If you are tired today, this promise is for you. Wait on the Lord. Strength will be renewed—not always loudly, but always sufficiently.

Because Christ lives, you are not alone in your weariness—and you will not collapse beneath it.
