Ephesians 1:19–20
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead…”

Paul stretches language to its limits trying to describe resurrection power. “Exceeding greatness.” “Mighty power.” These are not poetic flourishes—they are attempts to describe divine energy at work in ordinary believers.

The power that raised Christ from the dead is not stored away in heaven. Paul says it is directed “to us-ward who believe.” Resurrection power is not reserved for apostles or martyrs alone—it belongs to every believer united to Christ.

This truth confronts a quiet lie many Christians believe: that obedience is possible, but strength is limited. Paul says otherwise. God’s power is not merely sufficient—it is abundant.

Resurrection power does not eliminate weakness, but it meets it. God delights in working through frailty so that glory remains His. Believers are not called to self-reliance, but Spirit-dependence.

This power reshapes daily faithfulness. It strengthens perseverance, fuels holiness, and steadies hope. Resurrection life is not dramatic every day—but it is sustaining every day.

If you feel inadequate today, this truth speaks directly to you. God never intended you to live the Christian life in your own strength.

The same power that emptied the tomb is at work in you. Trust it. Lean into it. Walk in it.
