1 Corinthians 15:3–4
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
Paul describes the Gospel as a trust—received and delivered. Not invented. Not adjusted. Passed on faithfully. At the center stands the resurrection. Without it, Christianity collapses. With it, everything changes.
The resurrection is not a metaphor for renewal or a symbol of hope. It is a historical event that validates every claim Jesus made. Revival restores confidence in this reality—not as wishful thinking, but as anchored truth.
Because Christ rose, sin’s penalty is paid, death’s power is broken, and hope is secured. Evangelism is not an invitation to adopt a philosophy—it is a proclamation that the grave has been conquered.
The resurrection also reshapes courage. Fear loses its leverage when death is defeated. Revival emboldens believers who know that even the worst outcome is not final. Eternity is settled.
Paul emphasizes “according to the scriptures.” The resurrection was not an accident or improvisation—it was the fulfillment of God’s plan. Revival roots confidence in God’s faithfulness across history.
Today, let resurrection hope steady your heart. The message we carry is not fragile. It has survived empires, persecution, and centuries of resistance.
Christ is risen. The Gospel is true. And hope remains alive for all who will believe.
